為什麼需要定期調音？
鋼琴是一種非常「敏感」的樂器——極精緻卻又極脆弱，因此為了使它保持良好狀況，一直符合彈奏者的要求，所以鋼琴調音是絕對必要的。
鋼琴的琴弦共約210～230條，而每一條弦的拉力約90公斤，即使不經常使用，琴弦也會鬆弛，使音律不準，因此定期調音是必要的。同時將鋼琴的整個狀況仔細檢查，尤其是調整觸鍵及音色，在平台型鋼琴就顯得特別重要。
因經常使用而消耗與疲勞的部品，可即時更換或整修；使其處於最佳的彈奏狀況。故請務必半年調律乙次。
